May 6, 7, 8, 2018 Transition to Ireland & Grace Turns 18!!
The next three days are a little unexciting from a site seeing point of view, as we moved from Wales to Ireland. The novelty of flying has rapidly worn off the kids and most of them were dreading the flight. Too much ear popping and plugged ears for days after flights, I guess. This flight, from Manchester to Dublin, was quick and turned out to be quite comfortable.
We settled in to our new house, which is fancier than our "real" house in Allendale, stocked the pantry and laid low for a bit. My favorite part was celebrating Grace's 18th birthday!

| Loading the plane. We had to walk outside to get on! Kinda fun! |

| Our seats were in the rear of the plane. We loaded near the tail of the plane. |

Relaxing on the 7th.
The kids worked on this stunt for an hour! They had sore muscles the next day from climbing up and down the wall!

Grace's birthday celebration! We had cake and ice cream at dinner and then Rod, Collin, Grace and I went to Durty Nelly's for a celebratory drink. (18 is legal drinking age here)
The words are: "Happy, happy, happy, birthday, Jimmy!" ("Jimmy" is Collin's nickname for Grace.)
