It's Pope Day, again!  We went to our second Papal Audience on March 7, 2018, and this time we knew what to expect and how the Pope moves through the room.  So, we left the flat 30 minutes earlier than our first audience and got seats on the main aisle of the audience hall.  Collin and Simon next to each other, behind them were Paul, me (Katie) and Grace, behind them were Clare, Aaron and Rod.  Now we were ready!!  When you are in a room with Pope Francis, your biggest competition for his attention are BABIES!  The man can't resist them!  He's like a moth to a flame!  There was a real cutie pie across the aisle from us and we didn't stand a chance.....until a young couple from northern Italy came in shortly after we sat down with an even cuter baby!  Alleluia!  (Don't judge!).......Well, the only thing we could do is offer a spot on the aisle to the parents and the baby, and by gum, it worked as you can see in the video!  BEST DAY EVER!

Here is the video Collin got:  https://youtu.be/uY_R12nDSdc

We crack up when we see Pope Francis wipe his nose right before greeting us!  Such an ordinary human thing to do!  Grace said if she gets sick from it, she won't mind, and she will purposely sneeze on people and say, "That's from the Pope, and you're welcome!"

Pope Francis!

That's Aaron's hand at the bottom of the picture.  He said when the Pope stuck out his hand, about three people grabbed on and shook his hand at the same time.

See how cute she is!  What a pope magnet!
