Here is the listing for our Competa house..

https://www.vrbo.com/494851ha

Yesterday, we moved to the next house.  We are still in Spain, further east, and the row house we are in is at least 400 years old according to the owner, Sandra.  Sandra is from Britain and has lived in Spain for 34 years.  Rod said he was so glad to hear her speak English, he almost hugged her!  The house is like a tree fort or something.  No two rooms are on the same level.  They are all connected by stairs.  We are in the heart of town, whereas the previous house was out of town, more in the country.  Because Spain is mostly a hot climate, they don't have much in the way of central heating and we have been a little cold.  Night temps fell to 30 last night and the heat sources are electric heaters, propane heaters and a fireplace, none of which are allowed to run through the night because this town had a bad fire four years ago. That's all for now!
God bless,
Katie

  3. Oh my! What a gorgeous villa! My kind of place. Looks very cozy. Love the terrace and the view! The kitchen/dining room looks so "European"!I think I would love Competa, Spain!
